International Students

For the 2018-19 school year, Unity has welcomed 20 international students to the student community. Over the last five years, Unity has hosted students from South Korea, China, Spain, Germany, Thailand, and Denmark. We celebrate and embrace students as they embark on their educational and spiritual journey here at Unity Christian.

International Coordinating Agency Requirements

Internationals students considered for admission to Unity Christian High School must come through a US-based, International Coordinating Agency. Please see the following list of our partnering agencies and their contact information:

*The only exception to this agency requirement is if the student has an immediate family member living in the Eastern Ottawa County area OR the student is in their 2nd or 3rd year at Unity. The ISC will only work with either the international agent, student representative, or the immediate family member in Michigan and will not work directly with the student or his/her family in determining acceptance.

Application Process

  1. Apply to Unity Christian through an approved agency
  2. Once application is review, a Skype interview will be scheduled through the ISC and Agency Representative
  3. Acceptance will be granted or denied
  4. If accepted, I-20 will be processed
  5. Student is required to attend the New International Student Orientation evening on August 16, 2018. This includes registration of classes for the 2018-19 school year.
