The mission of Unity, to glorify God through faith excellence and service, is achieved through our Christ-centered education. Each day teachers and students work together to increase one another’s faith, grow in knowledge, and seek to praise God.
In addition to classroom instruction, students and staff come together for daily chapel—15 minutes of all-school prayer, devotions and singing. Students and staff spend many hours together in co-curricular activities where they practice, encourage, perform and celebrate God’s gifts.
Daily devotions are a meaningful part of each day at Unity. Through devotions, teachers provide opportunities for students to have personal encounters with God in every class. Prayer, Bible reading, and conversations about the intersection of faith and life are common pathways used to increase faith during devotional times. Additionally, every Friday morning extra time is provided during first period for teachers and students to spend time in classroom devotions. This extra time allows each teacher to personally engage students in a smaller group setting while also providing a lifetime model for personal devotions.

“Unity is special to me because we get to attend chapel four days a week, and God is at the center of everything we do.”
