About Us

Unity Christian is a place where faith and educational excellence for each student combines to create a dynamic Christian community.

We Believe…

  • God is our Creator, Redeemer, and Lord over all.
  • The Bible is God’s Infallible Word.
  • Our children belong to God, and we must teach them to know Jesus as Lord and Savior.
  • Christian day school education is essential for teaching our children to know God, to enjoy Him, and to develop as followers of Jesus to be leaders for Him.
  • Educational excellence occurs in a Christian community.

We Are...

  • A private, community-based high school of 631 students with its own constitution and Board of Trustees. Our philosophy is based on the Reformed and always reforming perspective of Christianity. Students are drawn from an area of approximately 300 square miles, including the population centers of Allendale, Hudsonville, and Jenison from the eastern half of Ottawa County, Michigan. The population of this area is approximately 80,000 people. Unity is supported by about 10% of the people in this area.
  • A member of the Eastern Ottawa Christian Schools, educating 2,090 students.
